Why we joined CARA Europe

Since 1 January 2025, we have been a member of CARA Europe, the Car Remarketing Association Europe. A small step on paper, but a logical one in practice: transport and remarketing belong together.

Transport is a link in remarketing

A used car that moves quickly and smoothly from A to B can be sold sooner. Every day a vehicle sits still or gets stuck in logistics costs margin. That is where we add value: we orchestrate a pan-European network of transport partners and take friction out of the transport process.

Yet transport is often treated as an afterthought in the remarketing chain. We see it as the part that makes the whole chain faster and more predictable. Read why car transport is the invisible bottleneck in automotive remarketing.

What CARA brings together

CARA Europe is a non-profit association that brings together leading players in the European used car market: manufacturers, leasing companies, fleet managers, auctions, logistics providers and remarketing professionals. Together they share knowledge, develop standards and represent shared interests towards the market and European institutions.

For us, that is the right place to bring in the transport side of the story. We learn from other players in the chain, understand our customers' market better, and improve our platform based on what really matters.

What we want to contribute

We want to make an active, innovative contribution to a market that is becoming more efficient, more sustainable and more transparent. Not from the sidelines, but in the working groups and at the conferences where tomorrow's standards take shape.

"For us, transport and remarketing are inseparable. Within CARA, we bring our transport expertise to where the market's standards take shape, and we learn from the players who keep the chain moving every day." — Mark Rotteveel, Commercial Director, TransConnect
