VASS, Vereniging Autobedrijven Samen Sterk, organized January 15, 2026 its annual New Year's Meeting for suppliers and partners in Museum Beeld & Geluid at the Mediapark in Hilversum. As a proud partner, TransConnect attended.
The meeting underscored the growth and development of VASS as an advocate for small, independent car companies. With now 1,035 affiliated members, an updated app and more and more initiatives to strengthen cooperation, VASS is increasing its visibility and relevance within the sector. A special moment was the unveiling of the cover of the new VASS magazine by founder Mirjam van der Rijt. This provides the association with an additional communication channel for members and partners.
The program consisted of a presentation by Auto & Motor Techniek, an inspiring tour of Beeld & Geluid and plenty of opportunity to catch up over informal drinks. The afternoon was characterized by good organization and a strong mix of content.
Also in 2026, TransConnect will remain an official partner of VASS. Through this partnership, VASS members benefit from collective discounts on business auto transport. This makes professional transport more accessible to smaller automotive entrepreneurs and strengthens their competitive position.
