How does the Biofuel Swap work?

When you place a transport order, you can select the Biofuel Swap option. You pay a small additional fee that covers the price difference between fossil diesel and HVO100 biodiesel. FincoEnergies — TransConnect's biofuel partner — then ensures that an equivalent volume of HVO100 is added to the Dutch fuel distribution network.

This system-wide approach means that for every litre of fossil diesel your transport would have used, a litre of certified biodiesel enters the network somewhere. The process is independently audited by EY and the HVO supplied is ISCC-certified and compliant with RED II and Annex IX regulations.

After participating, you receive a quarterly certificate confirming your contribution and the corresponding CO₂ reduction.
