How will I be informed about a fault freight charge?
Fault freight is recorded on the CMR by the carrier at the time of the failed pickup. The CMR must be signed by the customer before the charge can be processed. TransConnect will inform you of the fault freight charge, which will subsequently appear on your invoice.
