What is a compound?
A compound is a secured storage or logistics location where vehicles are held before, during, or between transport legs. Common examples include auction sites, remarketing centres, and logistics hubs.
Compounds differ from regular dealer locations in that they typically have stricter access procedures, specific documentation requirements, mandatory advance notice periods, and more restricted opening hours.
Because of these additional requirements, pickups and deliveries at compounds require more careful planning than standard dealer pickups.
