Standard orders can be accepted directly at the price listed in the portal. Auction orders work differently — they run for 24 hours, during which carriers can place bids. The carrier with the winning bid at the end of the auction receives the order. If you don't want to wait, auction orders also have a "buy now" option at a fixed price, which guarantees the order is added to your account immediately.
