Who is responsible for preparing the CMR document?

The carrier is responsible for preparing the CMR document. They are also responsible for collecting the required stamps from both the pickup and delivery locations. The visible condition of the vehicle is recorded on the CMR by the carrier at the time of collection. If additional keys or vehicle documents need to be handed over, these must also be recorded on the CMR.
