When can I charge fault freight?
Fault freight of 50% of the transport price can be charged when a collection fails due to circumstances outside your control — for example, when the car is not available at the pickup location and is too far off-route for you to collect. Always discuss this with the TransConnect logistics team before charging fault freight and obtain their agreement. Charging fault freight without prior approval is not permitted.
