Are there specific procedures for pickup or delivery at a compound?

When a pickup or delivery takes place at a compound, you need to ensure all site-specific requirements are in place before the transport takes place. This includes providing any access codes, pickup codes, or booking links required by the compound, as well as all documentation needed for vehicle release or site entry.

Missing documentation or access credentials can prevent collection and may result in fault freight charges. Where an aviso is required — typically 24, 48, or 72 hours in advance — the transporter must have the planned pickup date, driver details, and truck license plate entered into the TransConnect platform so the aviso can be sent automatically.

Always provide accurate opening hours and planning information in your order. If access issues arise or the location is closed, contact the TransConnect logistics team immediately at logistics@transconnect.com or by phone/WhatsApp at +31 88 369 0700.
