When is fault freight charged?

Fault freight may be charged in any of the following situations: the vehicle is not present at the pickup location; the vehicle has not been prepared for transport; the pickup location is closed or inaccessible due to incorrect opening hours provided; required documentation, a pickup code, or a booking link is missing; the vehicle's specifications differ from those stated in the order; part of the order is missing, making only partial loading possible; or the order is cancelled less than 24 hours before the agreed pickup time.

In all cases, the fault freight charge must be recorded on the CMR by the carrier before it can be invoiced.
