What should I do if I discover damage at delivery?

If you discover damage at delivery, follow these three steps.

First, take clear photos of all damage before anything is moved or signed off.

Second, note all damage on the CMR before signing — this is essential, as damage not recorded on the CMR at the time of delivery is very difficult to claim afterwards.

Third, submit a damage claim through your TransConnect account within 2 working days of delivery. Do not wait — claims submitted after this deadline may not be accepted.
