When does a waiting time charge apply?

A waiting time charge applies when the carrier arrives at the pickup location on the agreed date and time, but the vehicle is not ready to be loaded. The first 30 minutes are free of charge. If the wait exceeds 30 minutes, a charge applies for each subsequent consecutive 30-minute period.

To avoid waiting time charges, ensure the vehicle is ready for collection at the agreed time and that the opening hours provided in your order are accurate.
